In order to preserve your piece and in particular the seams, sfifa and silk buttons, it is best to dry clean or handwash.
Choose a soft and natural detergent and be careful not to mix the colors and the white.
If you prefer machine washing, put your piece in the machine, between 30° to 40° max with a low spin (which ideally does not exceed 600 rpm).
Because it is a thermo-regulating and breathable natural fiber, linen dries quickly. Prefer drying in the open air ! Rather in the shade if it is outside and on a hanger to allow the fibers to relax naturally.
For small stains, whatever their nature, a natural product is preferable, Marseille soap, white vinegar or lemon… Banish chemicals for the good of your linen piece… and the planet.
As for ironing, it will be easier to iron your linen pieces if they are still damp. Linen supports ironing at high temperatures.
